Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that COVID-19 had taken 643 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 107,794.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 31, 2021, 4,992,063 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,205,927 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 31,319 cases, out of whom 4,685 patients were hospitalized.7,879 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 28,892,685 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 18,789,616 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 8,711,970 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 27,501,586 doses.
