Iran logs 669 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that COVID-19 had taken 669 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 107,151.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 30, 2021, 4,960,744 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,175,405 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 33,780 cases, out of whom 4,918 patients were hospitalized.

7,886 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 28,780,305 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 18,551,964 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 8,389,296 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 26,941,260 doses.
