Iran's FM expresses readiness to accelerate supply of COVID-19 vaccines

Tehran (IP): Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian announced the establishment of a special headquarters to accelerate the supply of COVID-19 vaccines at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iran PressIran news: Today, the Minister of Health and Medical Education and the Minister of Foreign Affairs held a joint meeting with officials from relevant organizations.

On Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian announced the establishment of a special headquarters to accelerate the supply of  COVID-19 vaccines at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noting: "Today, after the cabinet session, I will start my work with two programs. The first program is my main priority which our people are facing."

He stated: "We will do our best to import the vaccines from any country that is possible and approved by the Ministry of Health in terms of scientific standards, without any restrictions."

"Then we will host the Pakistani Foreign Minister to discuss the developments in Afghanistan and the region," he added.
