Tehran (IP) - Tehran(IP)- WHO representative to Iran said that Iran has paid already 16.8 million doses to COVAX with all the economic sanctions and challenges it faces.

Iran PressIran news: In response to Iran Press, Syed Jaffar Hussain stressed that as long as the world most populated countries are challenging with the COVID-19 outbreak like India, Brazil, and others, the vaccine availability has globally reduced, but Iran's government, particularly its Health Ministry is every minute pushing WHO, COVAX, UNICEF to get vaccines to vaccinate its people.

WHO representative to Iran also noted: "Iran has also received  approximately 5.8 million doses from COVAX, also WHO is talking to the countries, and manufacturers to provide more vaccines."
