Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had claimed 544 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 101,354.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 21, 2021, on Saturday, 4,640,695 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,902,808 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 24,179 cases, out of whom 3,666 patients were hospitalized.

7,626 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 27,755,618 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 16,476,257 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 5,531,257 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 22,007,514 doses.
