Iran scores 466 COVID-19 deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday, August 14, 2021, that COVID-19 had taken 466 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 97,208.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 14, 2021, 4,389,085 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 3,700,828 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 29,700 cases, out of whom 4,154 patients were hospitalized.

7,252 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 27,078,261 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 14,767,598 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 3,813,628 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 18,581,226 doses.
