Pres. Raisi:

Tehran(IP): Iran’s new President said that the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran creates peace and stability in the region.

Iran PressIran News: Delivering a speech in his swearing-in ceremony, Ebrahim Raisi emphasized the improvement of relations with the neighboring countries as Iran’s priority, saying: "The Islamic Republic of Iran considers neighboring nations and countries its relatives."

The region’s crisis, causing serious problems, should be solved within the region itself, through negotiations among the regional countries not through the interference of the foreign countries, Ebrahim Raisi pointed out.

He pointed to diplomacy and said it should aim at improving relations with neighboring countries more than before.

Also, referring to Iran’s nuclear activities, Raisi emphasized that all Iran’s nuclear activities were peaceful, and that the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei prohibited making any atomic weapon.

The new Iranian President pointed to the imposed sanctions on Iran and said that all sanctions must be lifted, stressing that the policy of maximum pressure failed, and it did not prevent Iran from following its legitimate rights.

As about the country's status quo, the President said that the administration did need the Judiciary and Parliament’s cooperation besides the people and elites' opinion.
