Iran Press/ Asia: Speaking in a news conference in Multan, Punjab, on Monday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said no country wanted the spread of ISIS terrorists in its neighborhood, so it was the duty of the Afghan government to monitor and suppress the terrorists.
Pakistani news sources cited Qureshi as saying: "Nobody wants ISIS to grow. They [the Afghan government] don't want it, the Taliban doesn't want it, Iran doesn't and other [Afghanistan's] neighbours and the international community don't want it."
He stressed that the Afghan government must come to the negotiating table to resolve its differences and achieve lasting peace.
