Iran's government spokesman, Ali Rabiee

Tehran (IP) - Iran's government spokesman on Tuesday about the latest situation of the JCPOA talks said: "The main part of the talks has been done, and the initial understandings have been reached in lifting most of the sanctions."

Iran PressIran news: Iran's government spokesman Ali Rabiei added: "However, the committee formed in the Supreme National Security Council of Iran has found this understanding incompatible with the law of the Iranian parliament approved in December 2020."

"Thus, with the final opinion of the highest decision-making bodies, that the negotiations will continue until all the demands outlined in this law are met, the negotiations have been postponed after the complete transfer of the government, and it will be the responsibility of the new negotiating team," he said.

Rabiei emphasized: "The principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) have always been prepared and followed based on the instructions of the higher institutions."
