Tehran (IP) – Iran Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that COVID-19 had claimed the lives of 161 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 80,488.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 2, 2021, 2,935,443 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,494,108 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,620 cases, out of whom 1,527 patients were hospitalized.

4,005 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 20,183,510 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 13 cities are red, 214 are orange, and 221 are yellow zones.

So far, 3,912,879 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 530,117 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,442,996 doses.
