Tehran (IP) – Iran's minister of health, treatment, and medical education says that the Iranian COVID vaccine will be ready in late spring, and general vaccination will begin next week.

Iran PressIran News: Saeed Namaki stated that the vaccination would be voluntary to comply with the protocols.

"My colleagues and I will volunteer to be vaccinated in the first place," he said.

"The joint Iran-Cuba vaccine is one of the most privileged vaccines in the world that is being made, and the next one is the 'COV-Iran Barekat' vaccine," he noted.
