Iran's health aid shipment enters India

Delhi (IP) - Iran's ambassador to New Delhi said that 300 ventilators donated by Iran entered New Delhi.

Iran PressAsia: Ali Chegini said that these ventilators are produced in the Islamic Republic of Iran and are of the highest international standards.

Iran's ambassador to New Delhi stated that despite being under the harshest sanctions, the Islamic Republic had fortunately reached an excellent stage in producing high-tech medical devices.

He noted that the aid was provided and donated by Astan Quds Razavi, which would be delivered to the Red Cross of India under the management of the Iranian embassy and in coordination with Indian officials, as well as several hospitals and public and charitable treatment centers for COVID-19 in several parts of the country.

Iran's move to donate ventilators to India was widely reported in the country's media, including the 'Times of India', and 'Indian Diplomacy'. Indian users praised Iran's move.

An overwhelming COVID-19 wave in India has left the country severely deprived of oxygen devices and increased India's need for ventilators.
