Tehran (IP) – Iran Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had killed 163 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 79,219.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 26, 2021, 2,865,864 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,379,139 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,468 cases, out of whom 1,504 patients were hospitalized.

4,587 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 19,307,544 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 8 cities are red, 233 are orange, and 207 are yellow zones.

So far, 2,844,639 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 485,670 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 3,330,309 doses.
