Tehran (IP) - The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran said that the Supreme Court of Luxembourg upheld this country's ruling in lifting the seizure of the Central Bank's assets.

Iran Press/Iran news: Abdolnasser Hemmati, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, added: "According to the International Legal Affairs Center of The Hague Branch, following the favorable decision of the Luxembourg Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court in the final stage also rejected the so-called anti-terrorism claims by the United States, and approved lifting the seizure of the assets of the Central Bank of Iran in Luxembourg."

Hemmati stated: "With the issuance of this verdict, the ground for lifting the seizure of the assets of the Central Bank of Iran in that country will be provided in other similar cases, and other courts will be obliged to follow it."
