Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had killed 200 patients in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 78,194.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 21, 2021, 2,815,882 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,304,824 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,250 cases, out of whom 1,532 patients were hospitalized. 5,015 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 18,683,814 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 3 cities are red, 262 are orange, and 183 are yellow zones.

So far, 2,422,765 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 445,201 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 2,867,966 doses.
