297 died of COVID-19 in 24 hrs; 2 M vaccine injected

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that in the past 24 hours, 297 people died of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 76,231.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 13, 2021, a number of 2,722,007 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,179,890 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,246 cases, out of whom 2,175 patients were hospitalized.

5,481 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 17,616,446 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 46 cities are red, 263 are orange, and 139 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,670,118 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 330,805 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 2,000,923 doses.
