COVID-19 claims lives of 338 others in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran Health Ministry announces that So far, 2, 610, 018 people in the country have been definitively infected with the coronavirus, and with the death of 338 patients in the last 24 hours, the number of COVID-19 deaths in the country has reached 73,906 people.

Iran PressIran News: The Ministry also announced on Thursday in a statement about the latest definite cases of coronavirus and deaths due to the COVID-19 and the number of injected vaccines: "So far, 1,181,241 people have received the first dose of Corona vaccine and 244,526 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 1,425,767 doses."

From yesterday to today, May,6 and based on definitive diagnostic criteria, 18,409 new patients with COVID -19 were identified in the country, of which 2,441 were hospitalized. With this account, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,610,018.

Unfortunately, in the last 24 hours, 338 COVID-19 patients lost their lives and the total number of deaths from this disease reached 73,906.

Fortunately, 2,057,692 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospitals so far.

5,515 patients with COVID-19 are being cared for in the intensive care units of hospitals.

So far, 16 million 652 thousand 514 diagnostic tests of COVID-19 have been performed in the country.

Currently, 102 cities in the country are in red, 235 cities are in orange, and111 cities are in yellow.
