Iran envoy:

Paris (IP) - Iranian and French officials stressed the importance of parliamentary cooperation as a dialogue between nations and an arm that helps governments to make decisions.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's ambassador to France, Bahram Ghasemi, tweeted on Thursday about his meeting with Jean Louis Borlange, head of the French National Assembly's foreign policy committee. In particular, the issues of the West Asian region and the unilateral actions of the United States, which worsened the abnormal situation in all parts of the world, were discussed.

Ghasemi added: "In this meeting, the importance of parliamentary cooperation as a dialogue between nations and an arm that helps governments to make decisions, as well as mutual recognition of nations without any mediation, was discussed and it was agreed that after providing health conditions and lifting of restrictions due to COVD-19, contacts between the parties should be resumed."

The Iranian ambassador to France continued the tweet: "In this meeting, the current situation of The Iran Nuclear Deal and the non-return of the US President Joe Biden to the nuclear agreement and the lifting of sanctions were discussed in detail, and Iran's key positions in this regard were discussed."
