Tehran (IP): Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman noted that last week the Foreign Ministers of France and Iran discussed bilateral issues and JCPOA on the telephone.

Iran Press/Iran news: During his weekly press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that last week, the fourth round of political consultations between Iran and Austria was held.

He added: "The Foreign Ministers of France and Iran discussed bilateral issues and JCPOA on the telephone. UN Secretary-General and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also had a telephone conversation, which I announced important points before. FM Zarif also had a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart."

A new round of political consultations between Iran and Greece took place last week, according to Khatibzadeh.

He noted that yesterday, the Irish Foreign Minister traveled to Iran to discuss bilateral issues and Ireland's role in UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

The two sides discussed ways to expand bilateral relations and reopening the Irish Embassy in Tehran, added Khatibzadeh.
