Iran Press/ Middle East: Syria's Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Thursday held a farewell ceremony for the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jawad Turkabadi, who has ended his mission as an ambassador of his country in Syria
During the ceremony, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bashar al-Jaafari, awarded Torkabadi the Syrian Order of Merit, as gratitude to Iran, and an appreciation for his good efforts to enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.
Torkabadi thanked President Bashar al-Assad for granting him the Order of Merit, appreciating the Syrian government and people and Foreign Ministry’s staff for their cooperation to complete his mission as an ambassador of his country.
