Azerbaijan (IP): Iranian Foreign Minister visited the Jolfa Railway Station of the Republic of Azerbaijan and inspected this railway line's condition and transportation facilities.

Iran PressAsia: Mohammad Javad Zarif, who traveled to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, visited the Jolfa railway station of the Republic of Azerbaijan and different parts of the station this evening.

The Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, the Governor of East Azerbaijan Mohammadreza Pour Mohammadi, and the Managing Director of the Aras Free Trade Zone Mohsen Nariman also accompanied FM Zarif in the visit.

The Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in Nakhchivan this morning and met with Nakhchivan's Supreme Assembly's Speaker.

Mohammad Javad Zarif said upon his arrival in Nakhchivan: At the end of our trip to five countries in the region, we came to Nakhchivan to review the transit facilities and conditions cooperation in the region after the end of the Karabakh war.

He added: "God willing, with the cooperation of the countries of the region, it will be possible for the Islamic Republic and the countries of the region to cooperate in the direction of more transit cooperation and coordination, and to provide the basis for lasting peace in the region."

Mohammad Javad Zarif traveled to the five Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Georgia, and Turkey on a diplomatic tour over the past five days.

During the trips, he met with high-ranking officials of these countries and discussed bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
