During the meeting, held at the central headquarters of Iran's Ministry of Petroleum, the two officials reviewed opportunities to boost joint economic and commercial exchanges, highlighting the shared capacities of the two neighboring countries.
Paknejad emphasized that the long-standing economic, commercial, and cultural relations between Tehran and Islamabad have created a favorable foundation for broadening interactions across various fields, particularly in energy.
The Iranian oil minister further pointed to the existing potential for cooperation, noting numerous avenues for collaboration in the trade of crude oil and petroleum products. He also highlighted the opportunity for Iran to export technical and engineering services to Pakistan, specifically in the refinery sector.
Both sides reiterated the necessity of leveraging these mutual capacities to further develop and strengthen trade and economic relations between the two nations.
