Demonstrations are spreading across the U.S., as the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) killed a 37-year-old woman Renee Nicole Good.

Why it matters:

The incident has sparked the public outrage. It is occurring at the U.S. as it is right now interfering with the domestic affairs of other countries like Venezuela.

What's happened:

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was fatally shot by an ICE officer on January 7. She was shot dead in a residential neighborhood near Minneapolis in what the Trump administration claims was “an act of self-defense.”

On the ground:

Protesters in Minneapolis hold demonstrations, burning the U.S. flag, spreading it statewide against DHS & Border Patrol.

NYC takes to the streets against DHS head Kristi Noe. Noem set to speak at ICE HQ today.

Crowds flood Foley Square ahead of Kristi Noem’s NYC visit. New Yorkers: “Noem is not welcome! ICE off our streets!”

Heavy clashes erupt outside Minnesota’s Federal ICE processing center following the shooting of Renee Good.
