Tehran (IP) - The head of the parliament's Human Rights Commission said that the court ruling for Ruhollah Zam was issued and executed based on legal standards in Iran.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency, Mohammad Sargazi added that 13 charges against Rouhollah Zam were reviewed by the court. After that, a preliminary ruling was issued, it was re-examined in the Supreme Court of Iran and finally was approved by consensus among high-ranking judges.

He stated that if we look at all periods, where the benefits of European countries and the United States are in danger, they use human rights as a tool to punish countries that are not on their sides.

Mohammad Sargazi added that western countries should know that human rights laws are the same for everyone, and they cannot ignore the rights of other countries by relying on human rights laws.

The MP said the West attacks those who do not obey the United States and Western countries.

Sargazi added that Iran held a fair court on Ruhollah Zam, who inflicted irreparable damage on Iran, and issued and enforced a verdict based on the judiciary laws.

Ruhollah Zam, director of the Amad News Telegram channel who called himself the mastermind behind the unrest in Iran was executed by hanging on Saturday morning and was brought to justice.
