Leader of Yemen's Ansarullah Movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said that the United States and Israel are orchestrating a campaign to weaken the Islamic Ummah, stripping it of its religious and political role and identity.

Why it matters:

The remarks by the leader of the Ansarullah Movement are a warning to the Islamic world that the Israeli-U.S. alliance seeks dominance over them if they fail to remain united.

The big picture:

Israel is trying to expand its influence beyond Palestine as a part of its efforts to create "Great Israel". To achieve the goal, the U.S. is supporting the regime in all possible ways.

What he’s saying:

Abdul Malik al-Houthi: "The Zionist regime is trying to turn the Islamic Ummah into a submissive and indifferent nation, one that neither defends its faith nor its worldly rights.”

“The enemy is even targeting Islamic names and symbols, attempting to rename the Buraq Wall as the Wailing Wall.”

Referring to the situation in the West Bank: “The people of Palestine in this region are facing brutal assaults—from daily home demolitions to raids, beatings, and abductions.”

With respect to the role of the U.S.: “Americans are not only complicit in this plan, but they consider it a sacred religious duty. The U.S. stance is not merely political—it is rooted in ideological beliefs.”

About the Palestinian Authority: “The path taken by this organization—especially its negative stance toward Palestinian [Resistance] fighters—is fruitless and serves the interests of the enemies.”

He also warned against political pressure aimed at disarming the Resistance in Lebanon: “While the enemies are heavily arming Israel, some Arab governments, under U.S. orders, are working to disarm their own people.”
