The Second National Conference on Emerging and Military Science and Technologies was held on Thursday morning in Tehran, with the participation of senior military commanders and high-ranking officials of the Iranian Army.

Advanced materials science and technologies; quantum sciences and technologies; soft-power and cognitive-warfare sciences and technologies; and stealth aerospace and satellite sciences and technologies are among the main themes of this conference, each of which holds a special place in the country’s defense development outlook.

ِDeputy Commander of Iran's Army Ground Force Brigadier General Nozar Ne’mati emphasized the shift in paradigms of power in the modern world, stating: "We're not equiping for war but for deterrence."

“The developments in the field of science and technology in today’s world are not limited merely to technological advancement. Rather, they represent changes in the paradigms of power, security, and the management of future models.”

Deputy Commander of Iran's Army Major General Mohammad-Hossein Dadras stated that the line between beneficial and non-beneficial science lies in its ultimate purpose: "Science is beneficial when it has a goal that secures human well-being." 

General Dadras discussed the transformations of power in the world, criticizing global authorities for conflicts that have resulted in substantial casualties at minimal costs.
