Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Sunday in her daily presser that 1,040,547 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 730,798 of the total infected people recovered.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 6, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 11,561 cases out of whom 1,333 patients were hospitalized, the Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari stated. 

She added that in the past 24 hours, 294 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 50,310. 5,809 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 6,387,019 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

Currently, 64 counties are in the red zone, 278 are in the orange zone, and 106 are in the yellow zone.
