Iran's MP:

Tehran (IP) - Ahmad Amirabadi-Farahani, member of Iran's Parliament's Presiding Board stated that replacing gold with money is a way of exchanging.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with IranPress on the sidelines of an open session of the Parliament on Wednesday, Ahmad Amirabadi-Farahani, elaborated on gold replacing money, adding he is not one of the initiators of this plan and has not yet studied its details as a member of the board.

Amirabadi-Farahani noted: "Of course, today where e-money is discussed. This plan looks difficult, so we must look for ways to strengthen the value of the national currency and reduce inflation growth in the economy."

As soon as the Parliament's Presiding Board gets the plan, it will be sent to the Economic Commission for consideration, Amirabadi-Farahani explained.

 

The open session of the Parliament has been kicked off on Wednesday 18th November 2020 chaired by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.
