Iran Press/ Iran news: Ebrahim Raisi stated that the new US sanctions against the Iranian people are not a new issue, adding that this action was carried out with the aim of psychological war.
Raisi stressed that the hostile actions of the United States make the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran more determined.
He pointed out that the aim of the enemies is to create dissatisfaction, despair, and induce inefficiency of the system and officials to the people by imposing pressure and sanctions; but with maximum resistance, all their conspiracies and plans will be ineffective.
In a radio interview on Friday, the US president repeated his blatant anti-Iranian rhetoric, claiming that his administration had issued a stern warning to the Islamic Republic of Iran against any action against the United States.
The US Treasury Department also imposed sanctions on 18 Iranian banks on Thursday.
