Falak-ol-Aflak castle has been renovated and reconstructed under Qajar. It has been registered on Iran's National Heritage List. Flak-ol-Aflak castle was rebuilt during the Qajar period.
The historical castle of Falak al-Aflak has been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran and has now been turned into a museum.
Museums of Archaeology, anthropology, object restoration laboratory, and a traditional teahouse have been set up in the Castle.
The architecture of the Falak-ol-Aflak castle and the materials used in it are unique. Because Khorramabad is a city with a pleasant climate and floods, the castle of Falak al-Aflak is built on a hill and has a dehumidification system.
Falak ol-Aflak Castle is one of the most important historical and tourist attractions of Lorestan province, facing limited visits this year due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
