Pakistani Muslims have called for the ambassador to be summoned in protest of the French magazine insult against the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

Iran Press/Asia: Pakistani Muslims on Saturday evening staged demonstrations in various cities, including Karachi and Lahore.

The protestors condemned the desecration of Islam's holy prophet by the French weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo, calling it as an unforgivable act while demanding a serious response from the government.

The Pakistani protesters said that the government of Islamabad should take it as a duty to defend the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and that Islamic countries should try to protect the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) so that no individual or group would dare to Insult Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The Pakistani people have already protested against the French magazine Charlie Hebdo for publishing insulting cartoons about the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The insult of this French publication in publishing insulting cartoons about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has aroused the anger of Muslims.
