Iran Press/ Iran news: Abolfazl Amouei told reporters on Monday that in its next week’s session, the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly will investigate various dimensions of the incident in which US fighter jets harassed a Mahan passenger plane in Syria.
He stated that "The commission meeting on Sunday will discuss the details of this illegal action of US with the presence of officials from the Civil Aviation Organization, the Foreign Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces."
“The legal, international, humanitarian, air and military dimensions of this threatening move of the air sector of the terrorist and occupying force of Centcom (US Central Command) will be discussed in this meeting. Also while reviewing the latest actions taken in various institutions of Iran in response to US action, the complaint of the Islamic Republic will be followed up in the international forum,” he added.
On Thursday night, two American fighter jets harassed the Iranian passenger plane in the Syrian skies, which caused some injuries to the passengers of this flight.
