Isfahan, St. Petersburg to share anti-COVID-19 experinces

Representatives of the twin towns of Isfahan (central Iran) and St. Petersburg, Russia, shared their experiences in preventing, managing, and controlling the pandemic of the Coronavirus.

Iran PressIran News: The Director of Public and the International Relations of Isfahan Municipality, Iman Hojjati said in a video conference with the officials of St. Petersburg, Russia they the exchanges of medical experience between Isfahan and St. Petersburg officials is very effective in combating COVID-19 disease.

"Russia has set up a special center to prevent the outbreak of the Coronavirus," said Artem Gorkin, a spokesman for Russia's Ministry of Health.

St. Petersburg Foreign Relations Committee representative Golga Korolova also noted that Russian doctors were trying to treat people with Corona, saying that the media also helped manage the virus by informing them about ways to prevent the Coronavirus.

The Coronavirus, which was identified late last year (2019) in Wuhan, China, has now become a pandemic.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the world has reached more than 8 million, of which nearly 435,000 have died.
