Iran Press/ Iran News: President Raisi shared his opinion with NBC news agency today on the country's illegally blocked assets.
Part of Iran's frozen assets, estimated at $6 billion, was decided to be released as the Tehran-Washington prisoner exchange agreement was reached on August 10.
President Raisi stated that the prisoner exchange would happen in "due time," adding that the prisoners are in a "really good" condition.
Regarding the spending of the country's assets on purposes other than humanitarian needs, Raisi noted that humanitarian means everything that the people of Iran need, so the money is allocated for those needs, and decisions will be made based on that.
