Iran Press/ Africa: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who traveled to Pretoria to participate in the 15th Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and South Africa, said in a meeting with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa Naledi Pandor: "Iran is ready to fully cooperate with South Africa in various fields, including science and technology, and exchange cooperation in the fields of energy, etc."
He pointed out that in the 15th Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and South Africa, joint delegations from the ministries, organizations and institutions of the public and private sectors of the two countries had important and fruitful talks for two days, which are considered as part of the new agreements and the roadmap for cooperation between the two countries.
Naledi Pandor, for his part, said that he had a very good and detailed discussion about bilateral, regional and global issues with the minister of foreign affairs of Iran, and the two countries have common positions on international issues.
Stating that Iran and South Africa are important members of the South and members of the Non-Aligned Movement, he said that the goals of the two countries are to encourage and create world peace.
He said that South Africa and Iran have supported multilateralism and appreciated the role of the United Nations as a multilateral institution.
