Iran Press/ Iran News: Alireza Biglari said on Monday on the sidelines of joint meeting of World Health Organization (WHO) representative and Iran’s National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus that the diagnostic tests in Iran has reached from 200 to 15000 per day which can easily be tripled.
Biglari referred to the measures taken by different countries throughout the world, asserting that some European countries, particularly the UK, focused on the Anti-body Serology test, the results of which are very confusing for them.
Noting that Iran performed a real-time molecular test for PCR, which was also considered as a great success by WHO, the head of the Pasteur Institute of Iran said such a test is faster and less expensive.
Meanwhile, the chairman of an Iranian knowledge-based company Vahid Younesi said the company focused on the mass production of COVID-19 diagnosis test kits and therefore managed to provide the infrastructure for producing over 40 million PCR test kits.
"Currently, more than 60 countries, such as Germany and Turkey, have applied to Iran to purchase the kits," Younesi added. 207
