Sari (IP) - Shahid Rajaee Dam in Sari, the capital of Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, overflowed due to intermittent rainfall.

Iran PressIran News: Shahid Rajaei Dam, located in Dodangeh District, 45 kilometers southwest of Sari, has been constructed to supply the water needed by the agricultural industry and generate electricity, as well as controlling river overflows and preventing possible floods.

Because of heavy rainfalls in the highlands of Sari and the flooding of rivers, the dam overflows, creating a magnificent view in the heart of the forest.

The dam is constructed in an area of over 520 hectares with a crown length of 427 meters.
