Mazandaran Logo of ECO tourism capital unveiled in Sari

The Mazandaran Logo of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member countries' tourism capital, was unveiled on Saturday in Sari, the capital of the province.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mazandaran Province in Iran has been chosen as the tourism capital city of the Economic Cooperation Organization or ECO in 2022.

According to official statistics, Mazandaran Province, with temperate climates, very fertile lands, diverse coastal, plains, forest, and mountainous nature, annually hosts 30 million tourists from all over Iran, West Asia and other countries of the world.

The Economic Cooperation Organization or ECO is an Asian political and economic intergovernmental organization that was founded in 1985 in Tehran by the leaders of Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey.

The executive secretary of the event, called Sari 2022, said that the logo was designed by a team of graphic designers and national and provincial artists.

"The unveiling of the Sari Logo represents the formal attempt of all the officials and people of the province to host the most magnificent of the ECO States tourism capital to take the first serious step in the globalization of tourism in Mazandaran," he said.

Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan are member-states of the ECO.
