Iranian ambassador to Minsk Saeed Yari

Minsk(IP) - On the verge of the 40th day (Arba'een) of the martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, a commemoration ceremony was held by the Iranian Embassy in Belarus.

Iran Press/Europe: The event was attended by a large crowd of Iranians, students, Iraqi and Lebanese Shias, embassy staff and staff of other Iranian institutions and their families at the Beit Al-Zahra (AS) ??in Minsk.

Iranian ambassador to Minsk Saeed Yari praised Martyred Lt. Gen. Soleimani's continued service in establishing and strengthening the axis of resistance in a speech explaining the human and professional dimensions of Shahid Soleimani's personality.

The ambassador emphasized that martyr Soleimani had a military genius that even his enemies admit him.

"According to his friends and companions Martyred Lt. Gen. Soleimani was the most well-known and popular military commander of Iran and the world," the ambassador said.

Late Quds Force Commander Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) deputy leader Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and several others were martyred in a US air raid in Baghdad early on Jan 3.

On Jan 7, Like other cities in Iran and elsewhere in the world, supporters of the Islamic Revolution of Iran from different nationalities gathered in the city of Minsk in honor of the martyr Qasem Soleimani.

Also, a memorial notes in commemoration of martyr Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and the other martyrs of resistance opened at the Iranian Embassy in Minsk, the capital and largest city of Belarus.

Belarussian political, religious, cultural, and sporting officials, as well as ambassadors and diplomats from other countries and students, as well as the Iranian expatriates and other Shias from other countries residing in Belarus, attended the memorial ceremony on Friday, 10th January, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was held to open the memorial notes.
