Rising commodity prices, red line in parliament

Members of the Iranian parliament referred the bill of eliminating the dollar worth 4,200 Tomans to the Joint Commission for further consideration due to the red line of the parliament to prevent the increase of the price of basic goods.

Following the study of the budget details, in the open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (parliament), chaired by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the revenue section of the budget has been examined.

Among these, the 40% share of the General Development Fund in oil exports, setting the ceiling of revenue sources from oil and gas exports, and the parliament's permission to the government to compensate for the deficit of oil exports from the foreign exchange reserve fund is among the most important approvals of the nation's representatives.

The parliament also authorized municipalities to issue 3,000 billion tomans of Islamic financial bonds, develop public transportation, and renovate dilapidated houses.
