Tehran (IP)- Iran's President stressed the need to use the capacity of digital technologies and cyberspace in the growth and excellence of the country and said: "With proper policy and careful planning, we can provide the people with familiarity and proper use of cyberspace capacities and even prevent social harms."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on Tuesday in the first meeting of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace in the 13th government, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the impact of cyberspace in all aspects of people's lives and said: "The requirement for proper use of cyberspace capacity is full knowledge and familiarity with the it, and if we look at cyberspace accurately and correctly, a fundamental change will take place in the country."

The President stressed that the measures taken are still far from the goals of the formation of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, adding: "We will try to use the views of experts and thinkers active in this field, to be able to use this technology properly for people's welfare."

Raisi described the digital atmosphere and cyberspace to have a high capacity for economic transformation and noted: "With the self-confidence of the country's young people, we can increase Iran's cyber power and use this secure space for the benefit of the people."

The President also emphasized the implementation of the resolutions of the council.

The President also instructed the Ministries of Education and Communication and Information Technology and the National Cyberspace Centre to finalize the cyberspace education framework and submit it to the Supreme Council because of the approach of the new academic year.
