Iranian deputy Foreign Minister, met with his Russian counterpart in Tehran, discussing Iran nuclear deal and continued bilateral consultations in this regard.

Iran press/Iran news: During the meeting on Wednesday, Abbas Araghchi and Sergei Ryabkov also talked about Iran-Russia relation and regional issues. 

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister arrived in Tehran on Wednesday to hold consultations on the situation surrounding the Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran press reported.

This meeting took place as Tehran has reduced some obligations to the nuclear pact in the face of Washington's pressures and holding the JCPOA joint commission were among the most important issues were discussed during the meeting.

On the first anniversary of the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, Iran announced that it would suspend the implementation of some of its commitments under the deal, announcing that it would stop exporting excess uranium and heavy water, setting a 60-day deadline for the five remaining parties to the deal to take practical measures towards ensuring its interests in the face of the American sanctions. 101
