Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology emphasized the importance of the role of the digital economy in the development of various sectors of Iran's economy.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's minister of information and communications technology (ICT), Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi in an interview with Iran Press on Wednesday said that these days digital economy has a strong role in developing Iran's economy and in Iran we have good talent in this area.

The digital economy will help us to improve our economy, and to improve our performance and productivity in many areas, for example in agriculture. The big issue in Iran is to increase our efficiency and performance, and the digital economy will help us with that. 

Azari Jahromi added: "We have made progress in the digital economy, different countries have adopted different policies and strategies, we can create jobs for our young people, and make a bigger market for the digital economy, and it is also important to support hi-tech start-ups, which make a significant contribution to our economy."  101/211/207
