Iran Press/Asia: On the second day of the 2019 Asian Karate Federation Senior Championship, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in which 340 competitors from 33 countries have taken part, Bahman Askari Ghoncheh defeated Dastonbek Otabolaev from Uzbekistan 1-0 in the bronze medal match, snatching the bronze medal in the Male Kumite -75 Kg.
Sajad Ganjzadeh also grabbed a bronze medal after beating Kyrgyzstan’s Adilet Shadykanov in the Male Kumite +84kg, Iran Press reported.
In last year's competition, Iran finished second, with four golds, one silver, and three bronzes. 101/211/214
