Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Roads and Urban Development has said despite sanctions and the fact that some foreign companies refuse to deal with Iran's aviation industry, our aircraft are in the air.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the sidelines of a ceremony marking the 70th year of establishment of the Aviation Industry University, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami said in an interview with Iran Press that the most valuable asset in the Iranian Aviation Industry is the skilled human resources that we possess.

"Pilots, technicians, designers, technologists, spare parts manufacturers, and the groups who are involved in drawing up plans for spare parts manufacturing are the most valuable achievements of the Iranian industry and we are justly proud of them, whether working in this country or other parts of the world," he added.

Eslami went on to say: "The second achievement is the facilities that we have created for the maintenance of aircraft, and we do heavy maintenance and overhauls and regular checks for different types of aircraft."

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added: "Under circumstances that none of the companies are supporting Iranian aviation industry because of sanctions, our aircraft are in the air, they are flying to all parts of the world, and we are maintaining our fleet of planes despite the sanctions."

He also stated that the third part is the value of our capabilities to manage this industry, which has been able to overcome the obstacles that sanctions have created for our nation.  101/211/216
