Iran Press/ Europe: In reaction to the EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell's recent statement that "It's not possible to advance at this moment" with the JCPOA, Mikhail Ulyanov said: "No, it is possible, provided that all participants in the Vienna Talks on JCPOA have the relevant political will. Unfortunately, this is not the case in point now. Some participants invent artificial obstacles."
He also pointed to a report by Western media that Iran has enriched uranium to levels above 60 percent purity, saying that 84% enrichment is not prohibited under current arrangements. "It would have been prohibited if the JCPOA had fully gone into effect. So, the participants in the ViennaTalks should decide what their preference is."
The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi has categorically rejected the report by Western media that it has enriched uranium to levels above 60 percent purity, saying the country's nuclear facilities have never enriched uranium above that level.
