AEOI Spox:

Tehran(IP)-The spokesperson of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that the country has sent a response to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding the operationalization of the Fordow uranium enrichment facility calling Grossi's information not updated.

Iran PressIran news: "Behrooz Kamalvandi, said about the statements made on Wednesday by Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, regarding the increase of the enrichment capacity at the Fordow uranium enrichment facility: "If Mr. Grossi has said this, I believe that his information would have not  been updated." 

The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added: "One of the IAEA's inspectors had inadvertently reported that Iran had made changes in the operation procedure at Dr. Alimohammadi's (Fordow) enrichment facility, which it had not announced before. The previous inspectors were present at the place and after they were briefed, the inspector realized his mistake after their coordination with the IAEA's secretariat, the issue was practically resolved."

Kamalvandi also announced that Iran has sent a letter to the International Atomic Energy Agency in response to the agency's previous letter regarding the operation of the Fordow enrichment facility.

In addition, a letter has been sent today from the Iran Atomic Energy Organization's Safeguard Office in response to the IAEA's previous letter in this regard.
