Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Western nations for not delivering on their commitments to aid Ukraine, stating that the country has only received 10% of the U.S. Congress-approved assistance.

Iran PressEurope: According to NHK, Zelensky expressed Ukraine’s reliance on Western military support to continue its defense against Russian aggression. Although Congress approved a $60 billion aid package for Ukraine in April, only a fraction has arrived.

Zelensky emphasized that Kyiv’s military operations are planned based on promised Western support, stressing that countries pledging assistance to Ukraine should fulfill those commitments.

He warned that delays in military aid could weaken Ukraine's ability to defend its positions against Russian forces.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the West has imposed extensive sanctions on Russia and sent billions of dollars in military aid to Kyiv.
