A militant terrorist group Jaish ul-Adl claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a Zahedan courthouse in southeastern Iran killed at least 9, and wounded 22 others; in the aftermath of June’s 12-day US-Israeli war on Iran.

Why it matters:

The terrorist attacks are carried out against Iran as the West propaganda tries to represent Iran not as the victim of terrorism but as a source of it. But the reality is that the West feed the terrorist outfits to attack Iran, as they themselves admit.

What they're saying:

Deputy Police Chief of Zahedan: At 8:30 (local time) this morning, a terrorist team affiliated with the Zionist regime attempted to enter the Sistan and Baluchestan Judiciary building in the city of Zahedan, posing as regular visitors. Due to the vigilance of security forces on site, a clash occurred, resulting in the death of one of the terrorists at the scene.

Head of Sistan and Baluchestan Judiciary Building Hojjatoeslam Movahedi: "Following the collapse of a 12-day hybrid warfare campaign, hostile forces have turned to indiscriminate acts of terrorism. Iranian officials emphasized that such attacks will be met with a firm and forceful retaliation, backed by security, judicial, and law enforcement institutions."

But what is Jeish ul-Adl:

So-called Jeish ul-Adl claimed the responsibility for the terrorist attack.
The militant group is a terrorist one operating in southeastern Iran, especially in Sistan and Baluchestan province. It has carried out multiple terrorist and suicide attacks, causing the deaths of many Iranian military personnel and civilians.
The group was taken as an alternative for Jundullah outfit led formerly by Abdol Malek Rigi who was detained by Iranian intelligence forces in 2010. Rigi admitted that he made relations with the U.S.

What we're hearing:

An eyewitness harmed and hospitalized: "I had a case there. Then I heard gunshots, so I ran, fell down, and broke my arm. I just fled. All I could hear were gunshots and people screaming. It was horrifying—just nonstop shooting."

Another eyewitness hospitalized: "I had a court appointment at 9 a.m. I was going to take care of my case in the courtroom. But as soon as I entered, I heard gunfire coming from everywhere—from up and down. They were shooting the officers at the entrance, and also targeting civilians—it didn’t even matter who they were shooting at."

Sate of play:

Most of the victims and injured in this terrorist attack were civilians.

Following the detonation of a grenade thrown by the terrorists into the courthouse, several civilians—among them a one-year-old infant and a mother—were tragically killed.

Among the victims is a Baluchi woman, approximately 60 years old, whose identity has yet to be determined.
Three soldiers responsible for protecting the courthouse were also martyred.
During the terrorist incident, 22 people were injured, most of whom were ordinary civilians.

What's next:

Iranian officials vowed swift retaliation against the US-linked separatists.
