Iran Press/ Middle East: Chanting "Al-Quds is Nearing," the Yemeni students carried the images of the Resistance martyrs, including General Soleimani's picture, and commemorated the role of the martyrs in the fight against terrorism.
The students stressed that the adherence to freedom of Al-Quds, Resistance symbols, and Resistance martyred commanders has a significant relationship with the Palestinian cause.
Also, they condemned the plans of some Arab states to normalize ties with the Israeli regime.
Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, former Deputy Commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), and their companions were martyred outside Baghdad International Airport last January on the direct order of the former US President Donald Trump.
General Soleimani was assassinated by the US while he was in Baghdad on the formal invitation of the Iraqi government.
